  The Pacific Audio Fest (PAF) 2023, which took place at the Doubletree-Hilton Sea-Tac / Seattle from June 23rd through 25th, is the USA's very best Northwestern premium audio event. There was live music Friday and Saturday nights, with NW regional wine and beer tastings, and ~80 rooms of quality audio, Marketplace, Record Fair, HeadZone and much more! Renowned audiophile and reviewer Greg Weaver enjoyed Friday and Saturday evenings presenting his curated after-hours music sessions. The Pacific Audio Fest show was located at a top tech hub and one of the fastest growing communities in the USA, plus it is a vacation paradise in the summer months. The Seattle area has great demographics for the audio industry too!

PAF 2023 Show Report By Greg Weaver
First, my apologies for this report's tardiness. Within days of returning home to the Midwest, I came down with some kind of flu or cold (not you-know-what 19) that had me out of commission for some ten days. Once I was on the mend, I got right back to work. Here is my take on my experience in Seattle... pardon the delay. My flight from Chicago to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport arrived more than forty minutes ahead of schedule. As I collected my checked bag and headed out to catch a ride to the Doubletree by Hilton, less than half a mile from the airport, I was treated to the beautiful weather that late June in the Pacific Northwest had promised! After checking in, saying hello to all the friends and colleagues I ran into in the halls, getting settled into my room, and washing up after the trip, I joined in the welcoming meet and greet on the fourteenth floor at Maxi's. Good food, free drinks, and great conversation set the tone for what would turn out to be an amazing show!

For the first time at Pacific Audio Fest, renowned audiophile and industry journalist Greg Weaver will spend Friday and Saturday evenings presenting his curated after-hours music sessions for the enjoyment of any in attendance. Join Greg in a different room each night, both featuring unique world-class music systems.

Friday at 8 PM , join Greg, Innuos, Acora Acoustics, Audio Research, Cardas, and ASC in Suite 1370 for an unprecedented first! While Greg traditionally treats show-goers to select music from his extensive LP collection, on Friday night, he will spend the evening playing music selected entirely from his store of digital files. Like all his presentations, his introductions will include details about the music, its production, the band's history and members, and other interesting and relevant facts about the music he will be playing.
