Legacy Audio Expands Their i·V Amplifier Series
Legacy Audio provides one of the most versatile lines of high-performance loudspeakers including mains, on-walls, subwoofers, soundbars, towers, centers and surrounds featuring the latest in DSP technology. Legacy speakers consistently provide wide bandwidth, lower distortion, greater efficiency and high reliability. They are celebrating over three decades of relentless pursuit of perfection in audio reproduction. Today's 24-bit recordings afford 35dB more dynamic capability over 16-bit. At the same playback level, that's 17.5dB more upward dynamics with a noise floor 17.5dB lower. This demands a much more powerful, yet quieter amplifier to take full advantage and the Legacy i·V series amplifiers deliver.
You will enjoy a lower noise floor in your recordings and stronger crests. The real difference is not in averaged RMS level- it is heard in increased resolution. Legacy's new i·V series utilizes ICEedge, the latest in amplifier technology. This technology allowed Chief Designer, Bill Dudleston, to design the new amplifiers with exceptional power, very high current (i) and voltage (V) for stability into low impedances with a peak output current capability of 38A. Featuring copper detailing, front panel meter and isolation feet, the elegantly brushed aluminum chassis encloses this highly efficient, cool running technology. Originally introduced in a 7 channel (i·V7) configuration, the i·V series is now available in monoblock, dual mono, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 channel configurations. The i·V series is great for both stereo and multichannel duties, including emerging Atmos systems.
Legacy Audio hopes you'll join them in auditioning their speakers and amplifiers during the revised AXPONA 2020 show dates of August 7th through the 9th. at the Renaissance in Schaumburg, IL. The i·V amplifiers are currently shipping and can be ordered through any of Legacy Audio's North American dealers or International distributors.
