The Magnepan had a great room with their truly excellent panel speakers. Of course they sound great, don’t you read any of the reviews?
:-)
Haniwa, manufacturer of many different pieces of high-end audio, had their $24,000 speakers.
HiVi, also known as Swan per se, are incredibly popular in China and are once again available in the USA. These are their 2.8 and smaller M806B ($39,999 and $4199 including stands). Front end was by
Theta including Casablanca III HD. Have heard HiVi products in the States, in Germany, in China, and I must say for the money they really offer a lot of great sound and
good build quality.
Dead black background... Dynamics... Ease. That is how I'd describe the sound within
The Lotus Group room. Hanns Acoustic T60 table, Esoteric pre and amp, speakers are by
The Lotus Group.
Marten speakers with the ModWright amplification and
Dynamic Design cables were producing great piano sound. Big, bold and wonderful.
BMC's room was jamming to juicy blues by Mighty
Sam McClain. The Phonograph MCCI ($3890) is seen here topless (oh la-la baby!).
BMC also had their Arcadia speakers ($36,300) and you can see the inner working of the extensive crossover.
Get room correction at only $1200 with the DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2. 0 Dual Core unit. It is great to see new(ish) chipsets and technology to solve the age ol’ problem of room nodes, etc.
Delicious is how I'd describe the Audio Note UK Meishu Silver Signature integrated tube amplifier
($20,600) making some seriously musical sounding... music. Seems this section of the show has gathered all the best of the UK.
