The internal DAC has two AK4490EN chips to achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio, exceptional dynamic range, and low distortion – making for a precise yet exciting sound signature. For headphone users, a 2.5mm balanced stereo and 3.5mm normal headphone stereo output provides more ways to listen with your headphones than basic units. A unique RGB light indicator shows what audio format you are listening to as well as its overall status.

A built-in equalizer features 10-bands that are adjustable combined with 9 memory presets. Compared to basic lossy music players, the FiiO M9 Hi-Res Audio portable lossless music player has a far wider frequency response from 5Hz to 80kHz. It is easy to play back the very best 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res Music files.

The M9 runs on a deeply customized and optimized Android system to achieve the very best sound quality. You can easily copy a apk file of qualified apps to the FiiO M9, then open the File Management app, locate and click on the apk file to install it. There are physical buttons on the side for volume scroll, power and more. Overall dimensions are 2.4" x 0.5" x 4.2" (WxDxH) and it weighs a mere 4.6 ounces.
