Beach 2015 Report Ayon Audio had an abundance of great gear including the Oracle Delphi MK VI Generation-2 turntable, Accustic Arts electronics, Gauder Akustik speakers and much more. Naturally they were using Ayon Audio's excellent electronics throughout. The system above features the KEF Reference 5 speakers, Accustic Arts Mono Amp II MK 2 monoblocks ($3,850), Tube Preamp II MKII ($8790), Player II tubed CD Player / DAC ($13,740) and Drive II MKII ($8790).
Oracle Audio's incredible Delphi MK VI is one of my fave turntables both sonically and visually. Having first been introduced back in 1980, the company has steadily improved this turntable to now reach MK VI Generation-2 status. Three suspension pillars efficiently control unwanted vibrations whilst the massive belt-driven platter has a center clamp system. Oracle Audio's Delphi floating chassis is milled from solid billets of aluminum. The turntable ($10,750) at T.H.E. Show Newport 2015 was equipped with the Turbo Mk2, Oracle SME 5 tonearm ($7500) and the Oracle Thalia phono cartridge. They were playing music through Oracle Audio's special Paris PH200 phonostage. Tineo J Horn Speakers ($35,000) were being driven by Ayon Titan SET Gen 4 - monoblocks ($53,900) and Ayon Spheris III preamplifier ($34,000). Digital duties was being handles by the CD-3sx CD player DAC/streamer/DSD ($9850).
Gauder Akustik's Berlina RC 7 MK II speakers are a three-way bass reflex design. A specially designed diamond tweeter ensures high frequency production. They are available is piano black or white finish, with any RAL color being available upon request. The top/center unit is the Mastersound Evolution 845 SET integrated amp ($9950).
