Continuing within the headphone / personal audio section at LAAS 2017, i quickly realized a full day could easily be enjoyed doing nothing other than listening to music on a wide variety of IEMs, headamps, headphones, etc. Alas, since i don't have a full day to just one room-ish, time to move on to the next table of goodies.

Bling bling! 1MORE was at LAAS 2017 showcasing these very special one-off headphones with designer Swarovski crystals. They are based on the upcoming triple driver over ear H1707 ($199), yet covered in so much bling that the price of these custom headphones is, well, luxurious too.

Dan Wright of ModWright Instruments sits proudly by his modded OPPO Sonica ($2500 for mod and $800 for the stock OPPO unit). What first started out as a humble mod of a unit or two many years ago has now grown into a full-fledged company on it's own per se. Dan's delicious modded units have been warmly received worldwide, and deservedly so! Love ModWright's products and Dan keeps the music alive by bringing the best from the already impressive OPPO Sonica.

Sure I reported on the ModWright Tryst headamp within a previous show report, yet they look so cool my camera demanded i take another pic of them.

JH Audio has their new D.O.M.E. which means dual opposed mid enclosure. Basically the pair of 4.9mm drivers have more transparency and open sound. Pricing it set at $1599 in both universal and custom fit. At some point i look forward to visiting JH Audio in Orlando, Florida, and having a custom set fitted so i can give them a proper review. The Roxanne, Layla, and others are leaders in IEM and the company's latest offer with D.O.M.E. should be  real winner!

In the below pic note the smooth phase plot of JH Audio's Lola. Their Lola ($1745 on up) hybrid in-ear monitor features Dual Low and Quad High Balanced Armatures and Dual Dynamic 4.9mm Drivers that utilize patent pending midrange enclosure technology. According to JH Audio, "Lola is a balance of power, detail, and warmth. Quick in its bass response, extraordinary in its detail, extension out to 20kHz and a natural, silky, airy gorgeous midrange courtesy of our D.O.M.E technology."
