Endow Audio Two-For At the FIAE 2024

Moving right along with show coverage, during the Florida International Audio Fest 2024 it's always a pleasure to chat with the good folks at Endow Audio. It's a pleasure to see David and Tim Strunk's deep passion for music, it is a big factor in achieving longevity within the high-performance audio community. With David Strunk's vision as Chief Technology Officer and Tim Strunk as Chief Executive Officer with 30+ years of experience, this two-for team had two fabulous exhibit rooms at FIAE 2024.

Am sure after you've seen the pic above you quickly notice there's something very special about Endow Audio's loudspeakers. The drivers are not only in their normal location, yet by adding audio girth with an array of drivers around the horn, their patent-pending Point Array speaker technology seeks to reveal even the most subtle sound. If you love music that hits hard and fast, Endow Audio has got that too.

Their Bravura Series, the company's flagship loudspeaker line, features the Bravura 7.2 stand-mounted monitor and Bravura 12.2 floorstanding loudspeaker. Said to produce exceptional on and off-axis performance, yet at an affordable price point, they also present a very wide and immersive sound. Very ahead of their time, as immersive music is recently becoming of interest to the younger generation of music lovers globally.

Endow Audio's Point Array speaker technology has a complement of midrange drivers mounted in a ring, with each driver facing perpendicular to the listening "sweet spot" according to the company. They go on to say that this arrangement, when combined with the unique shape of the 3D-printed horn, results in incredible sonic performance.

Do note that the tweeter is in the acoustic center, just as you find in coax designs, but very different too. This arrangement is so that the sound produced by the tweeter and midrange works seamlessly in all directions. Their very special horn is printed with a carbon-copolyester, which has been very carefully specified by Endow Audio to deliver excellent sound quality.

So, how do they sound in the real world, and better still, within the trying confines of a high-performance audio show. We all know that manufacturers have a very steep hill to 'climb' when seeking to achieve the very best sound quality in a short period of time. Especially when there will be (some) reviewers, and (some) customers, who will fully judge your product (mercilessly) in these trying conditions.

So what did my Muse / wife Heather and I hear? Music, it sounded like great music to me. Endow Audio's unique approach to immersive audio brings a gloriously enveloping soundscape with ease and exceptional transparency. Their unique visual styling will surely bring about discussions, as these are not your typical box loudspeakers. If you have a chance to audition the Endow Audio loudspeakers I can highly recommend it.
