  AGD was at the 2020 Florida Audio Expo with their recently reviewed by Enjoy the Music.com "The Audion" GaNTube monoblocks. AGD has a unique line of amplifiers with a unique design philosophy. AGD's Vivance SE Monoblocks ($15,000) would alternate with The Audion SE Monoblocks ($7500) in powering the Ocean Way Eureka Monitors ($14,800). Preamplification was handled by the AGD Andante SE DAC-Preamp-Phono-Streamer ($12,000).

The sound was clean and precise with great imaging. Loved the immersive soundscape, high level of detail and smooth sound from this room. This system fits the room well. I found the appearance of AGD's amplifiers stunning with the futuristic tube look.

If you look closely at The Audion monoblock amplifier, you can see crammed inside of the glass tube, there is a fully integrated gallium nitride MOSFET based power-stage. No space wasted! Without a doubt, these amplifiers by AGD are some of the most unique in high-end audio with their futuristic styling and advanced design.
