Lime Ears
The Polish company showcasing their latest Aether R IEMs, the new flagship comes with six balanced armature drivers from the previous five.
Audeze
I fell in love with the Audeze when I first heard the LCD-3 years back. Back then, forking out more than SGD 2,000 for a pair of headphones was not something one would normally do. I held back and didn't take the plunge. Audeze still holds a soft spot in me.
HeadAmp
HeadAmp would not be a stranger to those who use electrostatic headphones like STAX. Their most well received product might be the Blue Hawaii headphone amplifier, but they were here to promote their latest product, the GS-X mini pure
Class A headphone amplifier. This is the first HeadAmp product to deliver balanced headphone amplification from all audio sources, be it single ended or balanced. Handcrafted in United States, the GS-X mini comes in 10 colors and is open for pre-order. It should reach our shore by late March.
Final
Final from Japan showcased their latest B Series products; they are so new that there is no information available even from the official website. All I could gather was that the B1 is the flagship model with one balanced armature and one dynamic drivers, B2 is the entry model with one balanced armature driver and B3 is the second model with two balanced armature drivers. They are priced roughly at USD
$700, $300 and $500 respectively, subject to change. The way they placed the products this way was to affirm the customers that there would only be three models in the B Series.
The B1 was just immaculately finished and felt substantial in the hand.
