CanJam Singapore 2019 Show Report By Kok Chieat Wong

CanJam Singapore 2019 Show Report
A great show from Head-Fi and global exhibitors from around the world!
CanJam Singapore 2019 Show Report By Kok Chieat Wong

HUM
Founded and based in Hong Kong, HUM makes very simple, clean and effective products. I especially like their simplicity in product design. They believe in hearing is the real test rather than based on technical specifications and charts.

I find their naked Dolores extremely sexy with its internal wirings and cores exposed. Yes, they are not the first, but the way the internal components are laid out are just very neat and clean.

Matrix Audio
Matrix Audio products looked very clean with simple visual lines; they felt very finely manufactured, too. The cases were made from high precision CNC anodizing aluminum. Seen here are the smaller Element M and the larger Element X. Both of them support MQA!

iFi Audio
Who doesn't know ifi if one dabbles long enough in head-fi? The iDSD Pro is probably the longest product in development, but it turned out to be a sensible move. With new digital formats coming out so rapidly, who could be sure the product they have just purchased is still up to date the moment they step out of the shop? The iDSD proves to be the Swiss army knife of digital converter now, supporting up to DSD1024 and the latest MQA format.

You will be spoiled for choices with the plethora of connectors and accessories iFi Audio has to offer as well.

NOBLE
NOBLE from the United States with products designed by audiologist Dr. John Moulton was showcasing their king of kings universal IEMs, the Khan. Featuring six drivers, four balanced armature, one dynamic and one piezo electric drivers, the Khan is open for pre-order and estimated to deliver by March 2019.

Fearless
The Fearless Y2K is actually a complete solution for someone who is looking for the most tuneable IEMs out there. It is a pair of custom IEMs with 10 balanced armatures drivers. The console with 10 knobs allows one to tune the frequencies responses, crossover points and impedance. The IEMs and console are meant to be sold as a complete set.

This must be the boldest product I have seen in CanJam!
