The Audio Nerd With Lambert's Play It By Ear

  Steven Holt of The Audio Nerd fame really makes the rounds at shows and here at CAS 2015 is no different. he carries a wide variety of vinyl, digital, tube, solid-state, accessories... so go visit his website and check out all the goodies! The Audio Nerd Guru wanted me to check out Lambert's Play It By Ear ($499) headphone amplifier.

This crowdfunding effort is now available and utilizes a dual triode Russian built vacuum tube for the input section. It has a single-ended Class A MOSFET output to drive headphones and is powered by a 19 Volt low noise external power supply. As an added bonus, it includes a pair of Little Links interconnects and a 1/8" to 1/4" stereo headphone adapter. Lambert's Play It By Ear headphone amplifier looks really well built and priced right too.
