ACA (Angel City Audio) with XLO had the Melody AN211 MKII ($6299) vacuum tube stereo amplifier and this was an extremely fun sounding system. They were using a wide variety of XLO cables, Melody AN845 integrated amplifier ($7399), Onix OC103 Reference Media Player ($13,000) and Argentum Acoustics XP3 Multiplexer ($1500). Did i mention this system sounded fun? Ok, that's not audiophile talk, yet when you're having fun who gives a crap what it 'sounds like'? Left the room with a very big smile on my face. Perhaps that says it all :)
