Sunday's Audio Excellence At AXPONA 2025 Achieving audio excellence with immersive soundscapes.

Sunday here at AXPONA 2025 audiophile / high-end audio show delivered more excitement as the final day began for music lovers. Registration and ticket sales open at 9 AM and once again today there were various informative and enlightening seminars. Once again the Master Class Theater Sessions provided knowledgeable insights from expertise within the audio industry. For car audio enthusiasts, IASCA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association), which is a new addition for 2025 to AXPONA, showcased high-performance mobile audio systems. Sound quality is the goal, though some car audio systems do reach very loud volume levels (high SPL).

Of course, we can't forget the Ear Gear Experience for those who love their music via a wide range of headphones, in-ear monitors (IEM), and personal audio gear from top brands. As this was my very last day to hear, or should I say try to hear, all 200 listening rooms (an impossibility), it's best I get on with my brief report today as I desire to give stereo systems my last listen before heading home. As always, enjoy the music!

Joseph Audio And Doshi Audio
Here at AXPONA 2025, Joseph Audio and Doshi Audio really had it rockin’ with those sexy vinyl LPs, glowing vacuum tubes, and lovely floorstanding loudspeakers. Wacha gonna do? Make some music, heck yes!

A bit of fun in the Wilson Audio loudspeakers and Quintessence Audio room....

Clearaudio’s Statement V2 turntable (~$250,000) is a masterpiece of sonic engineering and design, crafted for audiophiles who demand the highest level of performance. The Statement V2 features a magnetically levitated platter system, ensuring minimal contact and reducing vibrations for unparalleled sound clarity. Its motor is controlled by a built-in processor that checks the speed 7,000 times per minute, guaranteeing absolute speed stability. The turntable includes a gyroscopic pendulum base that keeps it perfectly level at all times.

Vince Bruzzese wants Enjoy the Music.com’s crowd to know that his new Totem Thunderbird ($13,500) two-way, 90dB/W/m sensitive loudspeaker is a remarkable blend of innovative engineering and elegant design. It features Totem's proprietary Torrent drivers, which are said to deliver exceptional clarity and precision without the need for a traditional crossover. These loudspeakers are designed to perform optimally in pretty much any room, regardless of their acoustic challenges, which makes them highly versatile.
