Leave it to the cool dudes at Kora to
offer a great new amplifier. Called the Galaxy, this stereo unit produces 50 watts
per channel with a claimed frequency response from 7 Hz to 60 kHz. Tubes used are
eight Svetlana 6AS7G, four Sovtek EL84M and two Sovtek 12AX7WXT. Inputs are via
single-ended RCA or balanced XLR jacks.

China makes quite a few tube amplifiers,
yet their availability is far and few between. Seen here is the JD-211P monoblock
amplifiers, JD-L1P phono stage, and JD-L1 preamplifier. The preamplifier uses four
6SN7 tubes, offers four inputs, two sets of stereo outputs, and has a claimed signal to
noise ratio of 95 db. The frequency response is claimed as 1 Hz - 150 kHz.
Alas, no information was given for their amplifier or phono stage. Still, it looks
quite interesting indeed!

From the folks at KR Enterprise
s.r.o. comes their newest variant of the 300B (left). Specifically, the KR 300BXLS
which is claimed to be electrically identical to the great Western Electric WE300B but can
output 18 watts (versus the WE300B 7-8 watts). The right photo above is their new
2A3 which many are rejoicing over. It has been a very long time since a single-plate
2A3 tube was manufactured and the new KR 2A3 is said to be utterly stunning sounding while
being very reliable. Looks like we all picked a good year to be enjoying tubes!

And now a great Italian-made tube yummy.
From the folks at Master Sound comes a unique EL34-based integrated amplifier.
The Due Venti S.E. uses two EL34 tubes per channel running in zero feedback
"Class A" to produce a total of 20 watts per channel. Being an integrated
unit, it also features four inputs, a tape loop, and volume adjustment. All RCA and
speaker binding posts are high quality gold plated. Frequency response is claimed as
15 Hz - 30 kHz.
