Kabuki speakers with a side-oriented ribbon in a waveguide.

 

The Kabuki speaker had an internal resonant panel, vented through the rear, in an interesting arrangement.

 

Vapor Audio with Empirical Audio and Clayton Audio.

 

Pietra had their solid granite loudspeakers. There is quite a bit to be said for a wide baffle and a small mid, and the results showed. Good driver selection too, Scan-Speak and SB acoustics.

 

Pietra used Speakons connectors, which are more often seen in the pro audio world and are a great connector  system.

 

Emerald Physics had an updated model with a seductively-curved front panel.

 

One of several baffle arrangements Emerald has used, this one has a custom tubular bass enclosure, but a pure open baffle mid with a coaxial horn mid-tweeter.

AudioKinesis MTM (midrange-tweeter-midrange) driver arrangement with upward-firing rear section to create ambience and smooth out room modal behavior in the bass. WyWires connected all the gear.
