Yes indeed, Mat Weisfeld of VPI fame is everywhere! He must have single-handedly setup about 12 turntables here @ RMAF 2013!

 

ModWright had two rooms filled to the bring with great gear! Room setup is as follows:

Iris Room:
Source - 'Elyse' DAC, all tube, transformer coupled, 24-bit/192kHz USB, S/PDIF, AES/EBU (Prototype: MSRP TBD).
Source - ModWright Modified Oppo BDP-105 - used as transport for DAC and for playing CD/SACD ($2500 for modification only).
Preamp - LS 36.5 'DM', dual mono, external supply, balanced tube line stage ($9995).
Amp - KWA 150 Signature Edition ($8495).
Cabling - Wywires
Speakers - Daedalus Ulysses Version .2 ($14,950).
Power Distribution - Wywires/Daedalus, 'Power Broker' ($2495)

Room 514:
Analog Source - 'BLACK' phono stage, all tube, transformer coupled in/out, MM/MC, 68dB max gain (Prototype: MSRP TBD).
Turntable - Helius table with Helius arm and Dynavector XV-1S cartridge.
Digital Source - ModWright Modified Oppo BDP-105 ($2500 modification only).
Preamp - LS 36.5 'DM', dual mono, external supply, balanced tube line stage ($9995).
Amp - KWA 150 Signature Edition ($8495).
Cabling - Dynamic Designs.
Speakers - Marten Designs.
Rack/Isolation - Stillpoints

 

 

The Cable Company / Used Cables were getting ready for the crowds. They carry a wide variety of cables, tweaks and much more!

 

emm labs new MTRX monoblock amps produce 900 @ 8 Ohm and 1500 @ 4 Ohm. Each monoblock weighs a very hefty 300 lbs and it took the above engine lift to set it up here @ RMAF. Pricing is around the low 6 figures. This is in prototype form for now, with the final version being launched @ CES.
