Audio Note UK brought their CDT Three ($12,000) top-loading CD transport and DAC3.1x ($10,000, seen here), which is their non-oversampling, unfiltered, 24-bit/96kHz compatible DAC using the AD1865N chip. Audio Note designed and built input transformer, I/V transformer and double c-core output transformers. The choke-loaded power supply uses a 6X5 and ECL82 for rectification and voltage regulation. Single ended (RCA) and balanced (XLR) inputs and outputs are provided. Brushed aluminum or Black acrylic faceplate.
