Acoustic, the Pioneer booth had a CSi16V and a Subaru WRX. Car guy time! The
CSi16V had the TAROX 10 piston front and stock rear brakes while WRX was
Brembo on all corners. As for the audio system, big bass in the back, many
door loudspeakers, and enough amplification to shake your tooth fillings loose.
Jamo's model X870 (€990) has a side-firing 8-inch woofer
mated with a pair of 6-inch mids and 1-inch silk dome tweeter.
Those of you who love the vintage Quad gear, then Quad Musikwiedergable
at www.quad-musik.de refurbishes, repairs, and sells these goodies.
For many years the Top Audio & Video show has sold compact discs. Each
and every year heralds in a new compact disc title and 2004 is no exception.
This year chimes in
Volume 10 sponsored by Naim and features many of the company's musical
artists.
Standind 2.75 meter high is Ultrasound's Hornblower
(€56,000) loudspeaker has six 6-inch coax drivers front, two side-firing paper
cone woofers, and a pair of side firing midrange drivers.
An interesting find is the Pioneer DV-470-K with the usual DVD
video features, yet also plays DIVX discs.
On another level is the Pioneer DV-668AV that plays DVD-Video,
DVD-Audio, the usual surround sound features, and also has an HDMI output for HDTV.
