Instead of launching a single product, how about launching a new company with sub
brands at the High End 2007 exhibition! Well my friends, Sigma Audio Concepts room had their sub brand Rise, which is the electronics side of things. Cableless is for cables whereas Labor Limae is the loudspeaker line.
There are many wireless audio video products here at the High End exhibition. Seen here is Soundcast's iCast, AudioCast where the white unit is transmitter while the black is the receiver (€99 for each unit). The iCast (€149) allows for mounting an iPod for use and charging.
There were approximately 40 well-attended seminars during this event that covered various audio topics from industry leaders.

In the special BMW in-car demo they had a live
violinist playing music being fed directly to the car's audio system! This
system has a 9-channel, 16-driver audio with Eton drivers, Learl amplification (825 watt total). In September the 3, 5 and 6 series cars. The usual treble/bass and fader adjustments are available plus five frequencies of equalization. The system digitally sends the signal for multi-channel processing. High quality neodymium magnets are used versus less powerful and less expensive types and overall frequency range is from 18Hz to 24kHz. Also of note is that coax drivers and employs for the upper range for time/phase accuracy and point source sound production.

Reimyo had their new CDT-777 (€8200) top loading digital transport featuring digital coax outputs 16-bit/44kHz. The Philips mechanism, a CD stabilizer and wireless remote are included as is spiked feet.
hifidelio offers wired/wireless music servers with upwards of 750GB of hard drive space in the company's reason rh4 (€3600). It has a beefed up power supply to ensure the large hard drive operates flawlessly. Either Ethernet wired or WiFi g for wireless.
Marantz had their world premier of the mock up of their new SC-11 stereo control unit and SM-11 stereo amplifier (€5000 each). This 11 series you can expand and change for things like bridging the power amplifier, memory for gain output on the preamplifier, etc. The stereo control amplifier provides for six inputs including MM/MC phonostage, tape loop, plus balanced and unbalanced (XLR and RCA) analog output.
Stax used this opportunity to show their prototype of the SR-007 MK. II headphones. There is not much information concerning the change compared it the original so watch our site when official information is available.
