Genesis Advanced Technologies proudly showcased their 6.1 full ranger floorstanding loudspeaker ($9,000). The two circular ribbon tweeters go up to an outstanding 36kHz while a 5.5-inch titanium cone produces the critical midrange. Mid-bass drivers are a pair of 6.5-inch ribbed metal cones and
side firing self-powered 12-inch subwoofers reach down to 16Hz.

Edge Electronics Signature One 400-watt monoblock amplifier ($31,500 per pair) were easily driving the Calix Technology model Phoenix ($67,500) hybrid hornspeakers. This five-way loudspeaker design has a frequency response from 20Hz up to 40kHz with 88B/W/m sensitivity.

From Vishorn is their Chinese made ST-206 monitor and V-88 floorstanding loudspeakers. Interesting designs that appear to be very well made. They had a striking appearance and deserve more attention then a simple show byline...

Burmester had a great amount of their lineup at the show.

Audio Physic had their new Mono ($24,995) solid-state digital amplifier
that produces 250 watts into an 8 ohm loud (890 watts into a 2 ohm load). The front blue light sets the visuals off nicely.
