music during the Grammy Awards ceremony, violinist Joshua Bell performed music
from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. A truly wonderful
performance and it is good to see the Grammy Awards also promote classical
music to a largely popular music audience.

Of course rap music genre, going on
twenty years now (remember break dancing) had their Best Album Of The Year and
was won by Outkast for their 2000 album titled Stankonia. Only moments
before they were honored with their Grammy Award, Outkast performed their song
"Ms. Jackson" on stage. Outkast, consisting of rapper Andre 3000 and Big Boi,
have recorded  four albums over the past seven. No newcomers to the
  record industry here.

The big award for the Recording Academy's Record Of The Year
Grammy Award went to U2 for their song "Walk On". A truly amazing
night for the longtime rockers U2. Of course U2 came away from last
year's awards with many Grammys as well. The night ended with a
wonderful gospel song by many musical artists! This is just a small part of
what enjoying music is all about. The ability to enjoy diversity in cultures
  and humanity through musical expression.

This star studded event included many
performers such as Reverend Al Green while the entire musical escapade was
backed by not just one, but two choirs! A complete listing of the 44th
Annual Grammy Award winners can be seen by clicking
here. And on that note, and as i always say,
what really matters is that you...

    Enjoy the Music,
