At the High End Society press conference they focused on Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) radio. The subject was "Listen to the Radio". Digital radio is starting to permeate here in Germany ,and it generally uses compressed, low resolution digital audio signals. This is basically the same system used in the UK and is coming soon the the USA with the recent successful orbiting of two satellites ("Rock" and "Roll"... se News Page). Mr. Kurt Hecker of Fadel Art Marketing was joined by Mr. Branko Glisovic, Mr. Alex Manninger and Mr. Dipl. Ing. Risse of Hessen Digital. They also were proud to celebrate the 20th consecutive year of the High End show. It has grown over the years and now covers thousands of square meters of space with over 500 brands appearing within the show. The Society started by twelve companies and has now grown to almost fifty top-end companies. Not just large companies are members, but smaller companies as well. Other activates the High End Society performs is in attending the extremely large Berlin show where the association has a large stand and provides display space from the Society's members. To reach out to a wider audience and make them aware that high quality audio products are available. In fact, like last year, the show was completely sold out!
