Teac Esoteric SA-60 Universal Disc PlayerThe Esoteric division of TEAC America will showcase their SA-60 ($4500) 24-bit, 32 times over-sampling universal digital disc player. The SA-60 also allows signal conversion of PCM digital audio to the direct stream digital (DSD) format at 1 bit/64 times over-sampling. Esoteric's new D/A converter also provides native DSD mode for SACD playback. The SA-60 was designed to provide an upgrade path for a consumer’s CD/SACD and DVD-Audio collection, to state of the art audio reproduction with full multi-channel support in both the analog and digital domains. The dazzliang array of features include a newly designed proprietary disc transport system, clamp and drive mechanism. Other bits include word synchronization function (Word clock input/BNC terminal x1), proprietary audio up-conversion technology (and up-conversion levels are user selectable), proprietary filter algorithms, plus digital audio outputs include coaxial and optical/TosLink.

audio physic Avanti V Loudspeakeraudio physic will have their Avanti V that features the completely new Hyper-Holographic-Cone tweeter, a new revolutionary cabinet technology and further sophisticated woofer and midrange drivers. The well established 3.5-way concept with four side firing 7-inch woofers maintain the elegant shape and compact size of the cabinet. Refined CAD technology supported the approach to an ingenious new cabinet structure with virtually inaudible resonances. The localization of sound events are extremely realistic due to closely matched drivers, crossover components, and cabinet structure. AudioMachina Pure Loudspeaker SystemsThe AudioMachina Pure System ($20,000) will be at the CES 2007 and includes the company's Melody monitor and Symphony subwoofer. The Melody fullrange monitor with integrated supertweeter uses an enclosure with dual matched solid clamshells, high-precision CNC machined from solid block aluminum Aerospace alloy with an exclusive Pure ultra-high-strength invisible internal clamping system. This system virtually eliminates distortion-causing cabinet resonances. Main driver for the Melody is an Ultra-Fidelity crossoverless 6-inch unit with Hyperbolic-Parabolic diaphragm and Positive-Negative half-roll surround and Spider. The supertweeter is also by Ultra-Fidelity and measures 0.75-inch with ring radiator. AudioMachina's Symphony subwoofer is an active design with 1000 watt amplification and 10-inch long-throw driver. Overall system frequency response is from 15Hz to 30kHz (+-3dB), has a sensitivity of 90dB/W/m, and is an 8 Ohms load of extremely benign phase characteristic. System dimensions are 12 x 12 x 39 (WxDxH in inches) and weights 135 lbs per channel.
