Bowers & Wilkins P5 Series 2 Headphones And C5 Series 2 In-Ear Monitors Like P7, the new P5 Series 2 uses drivers with a suspended diaphragm far more like a traditional speaker. The result is said to be a more precise movement, and deliver "a wonderfully open and spacious soundstage, with powerful but also natural and tightly controlled bass, and every detail revealed and brought to life." The new drivers are encased in the finest materials, including real leather and solid metal. The new P5 Series 2 is understated, yet imbued with a sense of style and is endlessly wearable thanks to its luxuriously comfortable fit. The leather ear cup covers and headband are highlighted by solid metal end plates and headband frame. Included is the Made for iPhone cable that features an improved Mic and Remote, with improved ergonomics for more control. A specially designed carry case is also included. Bowers & Wilkins C5 Series 2 in-ear headphones are light and more comfortable than the company's previous designs. Whilst they improve on their predecessor in just about every way according to the company, the most important feature is of course the sound quality, which has been significantly boosted by improvements in their small-scale drive unit design. New drivers and other internal components were carefully analyzed and every component was considered to achieve the best performance and comfort. Their new, precisely optimized 9.2mm dynamic drivers "deliver bass that's powerful, yet precisely controlled for a more natural sound, while C5 Series 2’s Micro Porous Filter ensures a spacious sound, full of rich, lifelike detail". On the outside, the Secure Loop design of the original C5 has also been retained. This ingenious innovation fixes a cushioned loop quickly and comfortably to the inner ridge of your ear, holding the headphones securely in place. But despite delivering the design details and quality materials of the original, the new C5 Series 2 is also now lighter – meaning it is more comfortable during extended listening sessions.
