AudioControl Maestro M8 Surround Sound Preamplifier /  Processor
AudioControl announced at CEDIA EXPO 2014 their Maestro M8 surround sound preamplifier / processor ($9000) with 4K Ultra HD processing. This new theater processor delivers high quality audio and video performance for home theaters and media rooms across the whole house. A feature laden back panel includes multiple inputs for HDMI and digital sources, including balanced audio inputs and outputs. AudioControl's Maestro M8 is equipped with the company's exclusive port that allows for the use of an optional HDBaseT signal extender that uses HDBaseT technology for extending HDMI signals via standard CAT-5 cabling to remote mounted display devices. 

Geared towards the movie enthusiast who demands exceptional home theater and high performance audio experience. 4K Ultra H is supported as is 192kHz/24-bit audio. The Maestro M8 is installer friendly for custom installation applications. There is 4K Ultra HD pass-through and upscaling capabilities, balanced XLR audio outputs, dual balanced XLR audio inputs, HDBaseT outputs via optional AudioControl signal extender component, seven HDMI inputs and dual HDMI outputs—ARC (Audio Return Channel) Compatible, proprietary room correction with signal alignment, level and equalization (assignable on a per source basis), Dolby Volume technology for superior balance, compatibility and integration with leading control systems including Savant, Crestron, Control 4 and RTI. Furthermore, the AudioControl Maestro M8 includes custom install control ready with Ethernet, RS232, 12 volt trigger and IR control options, AudioControl iOS Control App available free on the iTunes Store, Programmable remote control provided, and of course AudioControl's staggering 40 year focus on audiophile quality sound made within the USA. A five-year warranty on parts and labor is included.
