  Summer is here in full swing and I can't think of a better way to enjoy it than to entertain your family and friends outdoors. Whether you're looking to serve up food and drinks on your balcony, in your backyard or at the cottage, Stephanie Greenall has all the bases covered in her feature "8 Marvelous Ways to Upgrade Your Summer Entertaining with Tech".

Perhaps you enjoy roaming the streets of your home town in the summer in search of new records? Of course new records demand a well tuned turntable. If you're a thinking of picking up a new turntable or upgrading an existing one, Douglas Brown contributed an excellent "Beginner's Guide To Turntable Setup" to this issue. If you're not willing to dish out money for the calibration tools mentioned in this article, you'll at least know what to look for if you decide for a local shop to set up your turntable. There's lots to learn about this topic and this is just a crash course!

If you're anything like me and have an appreciation for all technology topics then you'll be happy to check out Laura William's "TAVES Consumer Electronics Show Preview". I can't believe that another edition of the show is approaching so quickly! With the move to the Toronto Congress Centre, this year's show will not only offer the largest footprint to date, it will also see an explosion in the number of product categories on demonstration. What are the hottest consumer technology products you can expect to see? How about - VR, robots, wearables, drones, hi-tech vehicles, 30 printing, tech toys, audio and video!

Like to step into a virtual or augmented world once in a while? Then you'll want to give Aaron Binder's "How Augmented Reality Is Already Changing Lives" a read. Inside this feature, he examines how augmented reality technology is impacting our world today and gives us a glimpse of where things are heading in the near future.

Finally, rounding out this issue are reviews of excellent products, spanning three completely different product categories.
