Lyngdorf had a €10,000 system, including cables and featuring their digital equalization, which sounded very impressive. Depth, nice harmonics, superb full-range sound.

Vaessen Audiodesign had their Aquarius (€16,250) egg-like large floorstanding loudspeakers were being driven by Luxman electronics with a Shandling tube CD player. A soft dome midrange and tweeter join a 12-inch paper cone woofer in this bass reflect design.

Videophiles who have a hard time having a large screen in their livingroom might enjoy the Beamax Art SoundScreen where a framed picture allowed for an internal cloth picture to roll upward and show the screen behind. Users can choose any display screen and also printed image. Those who have an acoustically transparent screen can have Klipsch loudspeakers mounted behind the screen.

Earning the Enjoy the Music.com® 2005 Blue Note Award is the Boston Audio Design Mat 1 turntable mat. Yes indeed, it is great to see such excellent products make their way to the EU and equally-praised by music lovers. See our award winning review by clicking here.

Crusade Audio had their prototype of the Reference 2 (€5,500 when in full production). The asymmetrical enclosure has twisted pair copper cable internally, Eton ribbon tweeter, Seas XL 50cm midrange, and in a separate enclosure is a Seas XL 22cm woofer. The woofer cabinet is ported to aid in efficiency and increase low frequency reproduction.

The Klipsch Cornerhorn (€14,000). If you actually need more information, you must be living in a vacuum as these gave been in production since 1946 in various iterations.

Sometimes during shows i get these flashbacks. No, not from my recreational pharmaceuticals back in the 80's,but from my many years of audio experience. Here we have the Avantgarde Uno hornspeaker (€11,000) and Duevel Bella Luna (€7,000) side by side in the same room. Both have been reviewed by Yours Truly (Uno reviewed here, Duo reviewed here, and Bella Luna reviewed here). They are as much different as they are the same. Both brought me thousands of hours of musical bliss, though the Avantgarde Duo is the way to go if you want to avoid the lower midrange disparity of the smaller Uno design. While the Uno/Duo are a very direct sound, the Bella Luna produces 360 degrees of sound waves. i could goon and on, but read my reviews for the full skinny on them.

A.r.i.s. by Aktyna Technology (€225 for set of three, €295 for four) is an anti-resonant device with aluminum outer and six other elements internally to insure various frequencies are reduced.
