Lipton's AVU, Paradigm, And Anthem
At the end of the hall was a typical combination of Anthem electronics with Paradigm speakers in a home theater rig, which had people glued to their seats. This living room size rig was a lot more relatable than the large home theater room that came up near the end of my visit.

The day was winding down past 6 p.m., so I returned to my room to charge up my batteries and freshen up for the evening's Industry Dinner held in the Holiday Inn next to the Westin, as the dining facilities at the Westin were too small.

Sarah Tremblay likes to set a theme for the dinner, and this time it was 1980's Disco.

It was Midnight Blue inside the banquet hall, but I got around to see a few friends and found my table.

Michelle Plante performed the MC duties for the two awards.

The Next Wave Award for up-and-coming young people in the industry was awarded to Bonnie Wong and Peter Fan of Motet Distribution.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Vince Scalzitti of Tri-Cell Enterprises for his many decades of service to the industry. Tri-Cell is a major Canadian Distributor of fine high-end lines.

I spotted the totem award in the Audio Eden room on Sunday and had a close-up look. Next, for the more energetic people in the crowd, it was dance time!

As Stephane Hautcoeur of Eon Art (right) and I were relaxing, someone insisted I should be on the front side of the lens for a change and borrowed my camera.
