Lone Star Audio Fest (LSAF) 2026 Audiophile Show Coverage By Paul Schumann

A well-respected, value-priced company is welcomed to proceedings was Texas-based Schiit Audio. I was excited by this audition because I'd never had the opportunity to hear Schitt gear before.

Their demo system featured all Schitt electronics with Eminent Technology LFT-8C Planar Hybrid Loudspeakers.

They were taking requests, so I asked them to play Phoebe Bridgers' "Garden Song". With this system, Phoebe's voice sounded nice and clear. Mike Hargrove and I agreed that the setup was a little shy in bass. Such are the pitfalls of setting up for a show in a less-than-ideal environment.

Conclusion
I had a good time at LSAF 2026 (Lone Star Audio Fest). I was disappointed there were fewer vendors than last year, but I have my fingers crossed for next year. Farewell, from Austin.
