Lone Star Audio Fest 2025: The Pulse Of High-Fidelity
PBN Audio, out of Springtown, TX, had a full collection of their equipment in the Bluebonnet Ballroom. Their system consisted of PBN Audio GrooveMaster Vintage Direct P10 Exclusive Turntable and Graham Phantom II tonearm with Lyra Kleos Cartridge ($29,500 arm not included), an Olympia DX DAC with CPSiD Power Supply ($20,125), Olympia PXis Phono Stage With CPSiP Power Supply ($25,300), an Olympia LXis Line Level Preamp with CPSi Power Supply ($25,300), PBN EB-SA3 Amplifier ($31,625 each/$63,250 pair), and PBN M3!5 Loudspeakers ($45,425 pair).
The Holstein Ballroom had T.H.E. Marketplace with tables from Bob's Devices, Miller Audio, Wizard Sounds, Longboard Luv Audio, Pilot Radio, Audio Foundations / ATC, Pyramid Audio, Audiophile Directory, Iasca, and Believe High Fidelity. Barak of Pilot Radio was kind enough to loan me one of his cool retro preamps, so you should look forward to a review soon!
The Highlands Ballroom contained T.H.E. Film Festival, with sound provided by SVS.
