Kuala Lumpur International AV show is back and better than ever!

Desa Home Audio had 2 blackout booths with Samsung and Sony 4K short-throw projectors setup and Golden Ear 5.1 and 9.1 surround sound systems.

Absolute Audio 
Absolute Audio had two setups on demo. The first was a pair of Klipsch Cornwall IV loudspeakers (which looks similar to the PSB speaker 50?). The other demonstration was the Magnepan 1.7i. It blew my mind to see it flat, as if a picture frame, and yet capable of delivering clear, lifelike sounds. The Magnepan was connected to an AVM Germany integrated amp.

Epson
Epson Malaysia made a splash here, showing off their new home entertainment short-throw, 4K Laser Smart projectors running Android TV. One of the projectors (Epson EH-LS500B) was playing Free Guy outside the black rooms, and it was impressive how it looked considering the presence of ambient lights all around.

In the blackout room, Epson presented their EH-LS12000B 4K Laser projector, capable of projecting in 4K Dolby Vision at up to 150" screens.

CMY Audio
CMY audio had possibly the largest hall with the most setups, from various brands. They showcased a wide variety of accessories from reputable brands too. From speakers and hardware like Focal / Naim to accessories like speaker dampeners from IsoAcoustics. Have a look at the gallery of photos below.
