Meze Headphones 99 Classics And 77 Deco

  Meze Headphones is happy to announce that the team will be present at CES 2016 between the 6th and 9th of January. We will be showcasing our latest model, the Meze 99 Classics over-ear headphones (available with Walnut earcups and Golden accents & Maple earcups with Silver accents).

Meze Headphones will not only showcase the Meze 99 Classics ($309) but also a prototype for an upcoming model, the Meze 77 Deco headphones.

The Meze 99 Classics (MSRP: €309, available November 2015) is the latest in the Classics series, using real Walunut and Maple wood for the earcups. Each earcup is processed on a five axis CNC machine and afterwards polished by hand. The design of the 99 Classics is not purely aesthetic but also practical, each component being held together with screws only. This makes the Meze 99 Classics a fully serviceable pair of headphones, each and every part can be replaced individually.

Besides the visual aspect of the 99 Classics, designed by industrial designer Antonio Meze, the headphones went through a two year development process of fine tuning to reach the desired sound.The soundstage has been described as "huge" and "well-tuned" for a pair of closed back headphones.
