AXPONA 2025 Luxury Hi-Fi Audio Show Report By Steven R. Rochlin

  Wireworld is at Audio Expo North America 2026 (AXPONA) proudly presenting the evening Concert Series again this year, and we here at Enjoy the Music.com believe you may thoroughly enjoy the acts both nights! Saturday Night, April 11th, 8PM 
Amber Rubarth

Every so often an artist arrives with a lyrical ability to convey the simplest of things. With Amber Rubarth it's all in the detail. Refreshingly unique in her styling, Rubarth has built an eclectic collection of songs from the fun and frivolous to the raw and destructive – her voice knows no bounds where genre is concerned. But it's in her lyrics where the most satisfaction is found, and her musings on life are delightful in their innocence and have the capacity to appeal to the most diverse audience.

Touring from South Africa to Japan and all throughout Europe and North America, her music has taken her from Carnegie Hall to Glastonbury Festival (UK), to being handpicked to open for legendary artists including Emmylou Harris, Richie Havens, Dr. Ralph Stanley and Kenny Loggins. Grand Prize Winner of the prestigious NPR Mountain Stage contest, songwriting is at the heart of how Rubarth navigates the world.

For those who are familiar with her work, her concert is always a highlight of the show. For the uninitiated, it is certain to be memorable, and expect to become a fan immediately!

Friday Night, April 10th, 8PM
Caelan Cardello

Cardello started playing piano at the age of 5 and within two years had begun parallel arcs of formal training in both classical and jazz piano, starting with jazz pianist/arranger Allen Farnham and Juilliard classical alum Steve Masi. Caelan's consistent musical growth enabled him to secure mentorships with some of the most sought after luminaries in the jazz piano pantheon, most notably Fred Hersch, Frank Kimbrough and Dave Kikoski.

Caelan's early involvement with several distinguished arts programs figure prominently in his musical development. First and foremost was the renowned Jazz House Kids in Montclair, NJ – a comprehensive and immersive community jazz arts program developed and run by jazz vocalist Melissa Walker and husband, bass icon Christian McBride. Caelan often held “featured artist” status when playing with the JHK ensembles and his 7 years with the program afforded him invaluable opportunities to play and study with some of the most prominent figures in jazz today including Jimmy Cobb, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jack DeJohnette, Rufus Reid, Wallace Roney, Ravi Coltrane, Paquito D'Rivera, pop songsmith Bruce Hornsby and of course Christian McBride to name but a few.

As an alumnist of the program, Caelan's affiliation has continually opened doors for him to perform with many other celebrated jazz greats in NYC's legendary jazz haunts like Dizzy's Club, Minton's Playhouse, Smalls Jazz Club and The Jazz Standard.
