AXPONA 2025 High-End Audio Show Report Audio Expo North America 2025 Audiophile Show Coverage

Saturday's Sonic Innovations And Revelations At AXPONA 2025
Your hi-fi heavenly dreams come true.
Audio Expo North America (AXPONA) 2025 Show Report By Chuck Bruce

Magico, Wadax, And Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems
Well, what can you say when you use Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems front-end source units and amplification with Magico's large floorstanding loudspeakers? Due to the live enormous-scale heart-pounding realism, the sheer amazing sound brought forth is most likely the biggest impact of the AXPONA 2025 show.

An impressive demonstration showcasing what is possible with serious high-performance and precision design and engineering. The use of specialized materials and manufacturing… without the constraints and compromises that come with budget concerns! Unlimited sound quality.

The Dan D'Agostino, Wadax, and Magico marriage achieved stunning realism here at AXPONA 2025. Hey, let's do it and push the envelope again at the next show too!

MBL had an exhibition room here at Audio Expo North America (AXPONA) 2025. MBL is a German company that makes high-end audio equipment, particularly its unique and innovative loudspeakers. Founded in 1979 by Wolfgang Meletzky, MBL has become known as a system company. MBL's Radialstrahler loudspeakers use a 360-degree sound dispersion design to create an immersive listening experience.

Highwater Sound
Highwater Sound had it going on with their mostly analog vinyl LP playback that was very musically involving with emotional uplift. The not-often presented Cessaro Horn Acoustic Mendelssohn loudspeakers ($65,000) are remarkable performers and were sourced via an Alineo 6H30 vacuum tube line stage MKII ($75,000) and powered by an Alineo 250 LTD SE 300B vacuum tube triode Class A amplifier ($80,000).

Also within the stereo system was the Alineo Extremo phono preamplifier ($60,000) that, in total, provided an immersive listening experience. The turntable was by TW Acustic, their Raven LS-3 Copper ($25,000), with high-end audio 10.5” tonearm ($6000). Cabling was by Stein Music. Highwater Sound‘s room at AXPONA 2025 sounded first-rate and showcased the advantages of fine audio gear and top-tier musical performance.

The soulful Barber in her poetic Jazz piano style played some of audience faves all while accompanied by some equally talented and engaged side men and women enthralled the full house audience. Indeed really special.

That's A Wrap For Today
Well, that's it for today's AXPONA 2025 update. Tomorrow (Sunday) is another day for musical fun! As always... enjoy the music!
