Inside AXPONA 2025: Friday Highlights From The
USA's Premier Audio Show
Fourier Transform Loudspeakers (18) drivers... Rather bold and interesting... and a prototype with the projected retail being around $100,000.
A very fine presentation by Gershman Acoustics of Canada featuring their 30th Anniversary floorstanding reference loudspeaker model Grand Avant Garde. These floorstanding three-way loudspeakers ($19,000), were driven by the Geniya DAC ($13,000), Gulfstream LampizatOr Streamer ($10,000), and Pass Labs INT-250 stereo integrated amplifier ($12,600). Congratulations Ofra and Eli Gershman for 30 inspiring years of producing great music! The music within the Gershman Acoustics room sounded very involving, drawing you into the music. The Pass Labs amps are always wonderful, and capable of boosting your system's level of performance. Gershan's 30th Anniversary loudspeakers were fast and clean, with seriously deep and tight bass too!
Rogue Audio was offering some quite engaging music via a pair of "Maggie" 1.7x panel loudspeakers sourced via Rogue's RP-3 preamp ($3495), Rogue ST-100 Dark power amp, Eversolo DMP A-6 streamer $859, Benchmark DAC 3-B ($1995), Cables by Darwin. Amazingly amazing! There's a lot of value in Rogue Audio products. Dollar for dollar they are heavyweights in their class! A high, and remarkable, performer.
