Kimber Kable AXIOS High-End Audio Headphone Cables

   Kimber Kable has finally decided to produce their AXIOS high-end headphone cables after years of me almost begging them. Great guys Nathan Allen and Thomas Kimball were manning the Kimber Kable booth at AXPONA 2016 and happy to show everyone Kimber's fine craftsmanship. For now they are doing copper wires, and pretty please make a pure silver version soon! As the first products that Kimber Kable designed were the braided 8 wire (4PR) and 16 wire (8PR) speaker cables, their AXIOS headphone cable follows this classic Kimber Kable braided design, which has been revisited for high resolution headphones. The cable utilizes a very flexible OFHC copper wire braid comprised of 16 FEP insulated 24 gauge stranded conductors.

Kimber Kable developed a new precision hand-braided process that allows the conductors to seamlessly separate from 16 wires to 8 wires within the transition. This eliminates the need for a solder joint, which can be detrimental to the sound. Each connector is finished by their craftsmen in Ogden Utah USA with hand-polished hardwoods to match the beauty of your headphones.
