  Rocket Espresso Milano's R Nine One ($6850) was developed to bring the very best of the company's commercial machine development program into a unit capable of outstanding results. Thermal stability fully saturates the group system is coupled with digital PID temperature control to produce a consistent cup of coffee goodness.

Both Pre and Post infusion are controlled through a full pressure profiling system, with your choice of five preset programs or via manual control through the Rocket Espresso paddle system. A direct water connection or built in water reservoir makes installation a breeze too.

R Nine One's pressure profiling dual boiler machine is based on market feedback and an examination of competing machines. By taking elements from Rocket's commercial products for a prosumer machine, there's a 1.9 liter reservoir for the group assembly for brewing, plus a huge 3.6 liter boiler for steaming. A magnetic pump and potentiometer brings pressure profiling to achieve the finest of delicious espresso, ristretto... and cappuccino.

The new brewing features also come with more modern controls. The machine is equipped with a color touch screen display for controlling and programming the its various functions. Brew and steam pressure are still measured in analog via a set of easy-to-read gauges located beneath the screen. With more brains behind touch screen, the machine can be programmed with five unique pressure profiles, plus it offers maintenance alerts and automatic on/off times for every day of the week.
