Attendees of the RMAF had a chance to hear pure digital masters recorded at 2.8MHz direct stream digital recording from Ray Kimber's amazing IsoMike recording label. Loudspeakers for the demo were senior editor Dick Olsher fave Sound Lab A1, amplification was by Pass Labs. Naturally the system used Kimber Kable throughout.
Of course, lest we forget, the point is to enjoy the music... and so a string quartet entertained a large audience of onlookers.
There was also an SCCA Enterprise brand FE classification car at the RMAF! While being a five-year or so newer design than my SCCA spec Formula Continental, the FE is akin to NASCAR's car of tomorrow where the new FE car is heavier, slower, and less capable than the older Formula Continental.
