Loudspeaker manufacturer Polk Audio has been making high roads into the audiophile realm. Seen here are their LSi 15 floorstander, LSi C center, and LSi 7 bookshelf. All models feature a special Vifa tweeter that reproduces frequencies
up to 27KHz while bass extends down to 20Hz, 40hz, and 45Hz respectively.
Audio Pro offers many small, wood grained satellite/subwoofer systems, though what captured my eye was their QUBE angled top gloss black cabinet with upwards-firing 1-inch silk tweeter
with 5.25-inch midrange driver. There is a large, flanged port at the bottom and they are claiming a frequency response from 43Hz to
28kHz.
Car audio, as installed within an S version of the Mini, was the highlight of Boston Acoustic's booth. A pair of 8-inch subwoofers in the rear and three amplifiers worked in concert with a pair of 6-inch paper cone midrange/midbass drivers and a 5.25-inch coax
mounted within the door for the uppermost frequencies.
AFbar/AFclub had a faux bar including a table dancer(!).
Looking for a red turntable to match your exotic Italian sports car? Well look no further as Transrotor's Leonardo 40/60 (€3,600) features a red acrylic base
the and tonearm is included.
Synthesis' cute little Nimis integrated tube amplifier comes in a wide variety of colors and appears here is wood. See our exclusive review of the Nimis by
