Model One radio by the late great Henry Kloss. At times it makes me wonder if audiophiles truly realize how much he helped to advance the loudspeaker field.
E Lucevan Stella Records booth specializes in early period music. In fact all their titles are recorded in Italy.
Top Audio, the show organization, garnished awards for various
innovations/products. To celebrate these products, a special section was set aside where many of them could be enjoyed. Seen here is the Omicron Stargate turntable.
Other products that received an award were:
The VYGER Indian Signature (see review of the VYGER Indian
turntable by clicking
here).
U-Vola model U-2003 loudspeakers.
S.A.P. Anniversary tube amplifier that employs two Golden Dragon KT88 output tubes, two ECC82 and an ECC99.
Also awarded was the Avantgarde Acoustic Duo hornspeaker. The Duo is one of my personal favorites due to their impressive transparency and startlingly real dynamics. Virtually no non-horn loaded comes close, both macro and micro dynamically, from my experience over these many years.
And lastly in the awards section for our show report, the Micromega Reference SACD player with full six-channel decoding capability plus 12-bit video circuit. It also plays CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, and DVD-RW. Also dts/Dolby Digital are handled with aplomb.
The Pathos Logos integrated hybrid amplifier features a tubed pre-amplification stage with seven inputs (two balanced via XLR, five RCA).
