Kimi's McLaren Formula 1 car was featured in the Tag McLaren booth. It was good to see another F1 car, especially after watching the World Champion Ferrari cars work their magic around the track in Italy only a few days earlier as reported in
our Ferrari factory Tour.
The Clearaudio Master Solution (€3,830) with Unify tonearm (€1,145) was feeding their balanced output pre-amplifier with six inputs and record function. All inputs on the pre-amplifier are single-ended RCA while output is either RCA or balanced XLR. As for phono stage duties, the Clearaudio Symphono phono stage (€1,296) was put to good use.
Very impressive was the Gryphon system with their Adagio CD player/transport, Prelude pre-amplifier, Cantana, and Encore stereo amplifier.
Sounding quite well was the Avantgarde Acoustic Solo self-powered hornspeaker with 12" woofer and horn-loaded midrange/tweeter (€2,700 each).
VYGER's Atlantis turntable offers a new automatic vacuum system ($32,000 including their tonearm). See our review of their Indian turntable by

The award for the system with the most amount of chutzpah goes to Randy Hi-Fi Italia with the VTL Wonton 600-watt monoblock tube amplifiers mated to the Avantgarde Acoustic 109dB/W/m sensitive hornspeakers. Needless to say this system could easily achieve the high volume levels some people desire… and then some!
Proud "father" Ole Lund Christensen having a seat on his GamuT S300, 300-watt stereo amplifiers.
