Enjoy the Music.com's Largest
Review Magazine In History!
My coding fingers are raw to the bone! The April 2020 issue of Enjoy the Music.com's Review Magazine is the largest we've ever done in our 25 years history! The many new writers we've hired are finally chiming in! Blame me for not announcing every new hire, as we've been on a spree as of late and want to take a moment to point out our youngest reviewer, plus a 'new guy' who I've known for decades! Our youngest reviewer is Frank Garofalo, who is currently a student finishing up his undergraduate studies at a local college and plans to study cybersecurity at the University of Central Florida in the fall of 2020. And while his system started small and on the budget side of the price spectrum, like many of us, over time he slowly upgraded and his high-end audio system evolved. You can learn more about Frank at this link.
Another reviewer we have recently hired is someone I met online sometime around 1996. He was asking for some magazines and so I sent him quite the collection, gratis, so he could learn more about our hobby. The reason I know this specific date is that Rogier van Bakel interviewed me for his wonderful article about our hobby. His article titled 'Geek Love' appeared in November 1996 (issue 748) of Rolling Stone. Rogier was an editor at Rolling Stone, plus he's written for Wired and a few other prestigious publications too. We are deeply honored to have him aboard. You can read Rogier van Bakel's bio at this link.
Staycation 2020
The website Open Culture has an abundance of great business courses you can take free of charge. These are University-level courses taught by professors from many different educational institutions. Perhaps now is a good time to learn, or perhaps refresh, your wisdom into providing a high-quality business practice. Below are a few examples: An Introduction to Consumer Neuroscience & Neuromarketing Branding, Content & Social Media Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part I
and Part II Entrepreneurship through the Lens of Venture Capital Introduction to Marketing The Fundamentals of Revenue Management: The Cornerstone of
Revenue Strategy Women in Leadership: Inspiring Positive Change
Please take this time we have been given to build your client list, plus sharpen your skills through educational courses imho. Over the years many have asked me how Enjoy the Music.com seems to be everywhere, or at the very least in offering so many things to so many people. We are perhaps the only online site to regularly place ads within print publications, we sponsor shows, we do giveaways.... And so much more! I'm truly humbled to have 11 other publications as our partners, and we're in discussions to bring you more publications within our site. This might be Staycation 2020, yet please use the time wisely and benefit accordingly. Now is the time to improve on the many skillsets you already have, learn a few more for your business toolbox, etc. Enjoy the Music.com wants to help out as we can, and so we just secured being sponsors for every major show within the USA except, sadly, AXPONA. We did try, and you can read more about our AXPONA 2020 situation at this link, as we do not want our readers to think we play favorites as all shows and all top-notch magazines are invited within our site to greatly benefit from our longstanding online global audience. We love USA-based shows AXPONA, CAF, FLAX, and RMAF (to name a few of many)... and we're perhaps the first online site to report on the Frankfurt event decades ago, which is now HIGH END in Munich.
Thanks Cardas Audio for the above image.
Some additional awesome news is that with this issue we've upped the editing quality of our articles. Yes this is loooong overdue, and much-needed!!! Since we're increasing our writers, our gear reviews, and show reports, we also desperately needed to do a far better job at editing too. Our goal is to produce the very best Review Magazine we can offer to benefit our readers, high-end audio manufacturers and distributors, plus support every show we can to the best of our abilities.
Our reviews this month span from ultra-fi Sonus faber speakers and incredible KEF active speakers to some very reasonably-priced spectacular Schiit. We also have many 10 Questions For Manufacturer articles too! I would love to name every new article and review within our April 2020 issue, yet as best I can tell we are at approximately 30 new articles and reviews for this month alone! And yes my hand-coding fingers are tired! You read that correctly, as I still personally hand code this site as I'm an old-school kinda guy to keep very tight control of the content, plus ensuing the cleanliness of code that makes each of the 8000+ web pages load fast and efficiently. Everyone here at Enjoy the Music.com wishes you are yours a healthy and prosperous 2020. I'm sure you'll love reading the most extensive Review Magazine this site has ever published during our 25-year history of helping music lovers worldwide to enjoy music. This is also our April (1st) issue, and this being the year 2020 (04/20), you can bet we once again snuck in a few April Fools jokes too. :)
Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the recent Coronavirus outbreak. It feels weird, personally, as my daily lifestyle is 'quarantine'. Am doing my best watch over and help our family of writers, readers, and my longtime friends within the music industry. Thank you to everyone who has been a guiding light, which has helped our humble site grow into the 8000+ web pages over the past 25 years. You can be the guide...
As always, in the end what really matters is that you...
