What do audiophiles mean when they talk about accuracy?
What's your goal with your hi-fi system? Is it accuracy? (And what does that mean anyway?) Or is it a great listening experience? Scott Bierfeldt, founder of speaker manufacturer Verdant Audio, and Nicholas Tolson of LTA, discuss accuracy in loudspeakers and hi-fi systems. For perspective, all Verdant Audio composite cabinets are manufactured in Pennsylvania and all bamboo cabinets and stands are manufactured in New Jersey. The cabinets are then assembled in Connecticut. Our crossovers are assembled in Wisconsin. Verdant will never shift manufacturing to China and will continue to support skilled labor in the USA, Canada and Western Europe whenever possible.
