  Coming from my favorite country to visit (Italy), SAP featured their new J-2001 mkII loudspeaker (€12,500) features a bullet tweeter, horn midrange and 12-inch woofer. Two front-mounted adjustments allow for level control of the midrange and tweeter while he entire unit is bi-wireable/amplifiable.

D.Klimo had their wonderful new LAR MM/MC (€2,500) phonostage that has completely separate boards per channel to greatly reduce channel to channel crosstalk. Tube compliment is two E88MC per channel for MM, or four for MC. The boards themselves are specially mounted via dampeners to reduce airborne vibrations from negatively affecting the music reproduction qualities of the LAR. D.Klimo also has their new Merkino Gold pre-amplifier that employs a gold-plated circuit board and two E88CC for gain. While there is a built in power supply, external power supplies are available to further enhance the music reproduction capabilities.

During some equipment reviews you may have read how the device under test has, eh hem, "balls". Well, the Mega Globe (€9,200) would surely qualify. The three-way unit has a 8-inch woofer, 6-inch midrange, and two 1-inch soft-dome tweeters. Overall frequency response is from 45Hz to 22kHz with an 88dB/W/m sensitivity.

Avantgarde Acoustic was not only showing their excellent hornspeakers, we here at Enjoy the Music.com™ happily give the world a first look at their 27 watt per channel intergraded amplifier that operated in "Class AB" with very little feedback. Their model Five (€3,000) has five stereo inputs and a pair of XLR outputs appear on the rear with WBT loudspeaker binding posts.
