We start off this September 2000 with our coverage of the CEDIA Expo 2000 show. Also this month was our Milan Italy, London England Hi-Fi News show and Live 2000 coverage. We have four shows reported on in September 2000! More than any other high-end audio website!

The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) was founded in 1989. Their membership is claimed to consist of 1,031 designers/installers, 278 manufacturers and 242 general members. While CEDIA is not really a "high-end" show, it is more a show for those who specialize in "designing and installing electronic systems for the home -- typically media rooms, single or multi-room entertainment systems, home automation and communication systems, and integrated whole-house subsystems providing control of lighting, security and HVAC systems." HVAC is heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Like the CES, during the CEDIA show there are various seminars covering numerous aspects of the custom installation industry.
