AXPONA 2013 Show Report -- Audio Expo North America

   AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) 2013 is an audiophile show that was held from March 8th through 10th and open to the public. Taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton, the AXPONA Audio Expo is now in their fifth year and offers demonstrations of home audio playback equipment and software replicating live music as accurately as possible. Attendees enjoyed direct contact with designers and manufacturer-trained personnel while listening to the latest equipment available in the marketplace. A variety of educational seminars was be conducted by leading authorities within the high-end audio field to greatly benefit attendees. Music Direct, a Chicago-based high-end audio retailer, partnered with AXPONA and will not only showcase equipment, they will also offered retail sales of gear and music from Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. Various size meeting rooms had premiere equipment whilst many hotel rooms were filled with high-end audio and video gear. Active displays means attendees brought their own music and listened to it on top quality audio systems.
