Windsor  JVC / Kenwood Canada
I popped into the home theater demo and gave them a thumb drive with my dashcam video from my drive up to Toronto on the QEW. In a single-seat car, I get to use the express lane.

At Enjoy the Music.com we don't quite have a readership for home theater or fully immersive mega-channel audio news, but what I saw and heard here was excellent.

The Holiday Inn Rooms
I didn't time myself, but I expect it was no more than a three-minute walk to the Holiday Inn next door where the show expanded to include a large room for the EARVANA Feston on the ground floor and several more large rooms for dealers and distributors on the lower level.

In the large hallway outside the EARVANA Fest room, was the only large vendor of LPs at the show – a near monopoly. Steven Huang had several boxes at his Audio Sensibility table on the balcony of the 2nd Floor, as he typically does. But not any others that I can recall.

This fellow had relatively few products and did not draw much attention. The secret to success seems to be to have a large selection.

EARVANA Fest
The EARVANA Fest was in a room about twice the size of my high school gymnasium back in the 1960s. The photo above was of the left side.

And this was the right side of the room.

I stopped at the first table on the left and encountered the guy from Audiowise promoting his off-grid system of listening to headphones.

If you consider the cost of installing a dedicated line and adding a high-quality power conditioner and other EMI/RFI suppression devices the cost of this system begins to seem reasonable if you only listen to headphones. Remember, the USD price is 75% of the CAD prices shown here.

This is beginning to look like a high-end approach to watching music videos on YouTube. On the other hand, sales of 96" XXL TVs are booming. It comes down to a lifestyle choice, I guess.
