Zu Audio Druid MK. V, Modern Console No. 1, And Zu/DL-103 Cartridge
Zu Audio was chillin' out with Space Ghost tunes as Sean seemed to be (almost) praying to the vinyl Gods. Retro future funk fun fantasy phat rap filled the room with music so delish that it was hard to keep the camera steady. You know, when the music is groovin' so great your body naturally responds to the beat. Sean was bumpin' it as the lyrics flowed out of the Zu Audio Druid MK. V speakers ($5400 per pair and up depending on finish). The Zu Modern Console No. 1 in the center filled the duties as rack too.
Amp'ing duties were given to Pass Lab's XA-30.8 ($6800), with the XP-30 preamplifier ($16,500) and XP-25 phonostage ($10,600) doing their best to deliver tunes to all who entered the room. Turntable choice was quite interesting as a vintage Luxman PD444 w/Rega RB-700 arm (~$3000) with Zu/DL-103 cartridge ($549) spun their magic. Rounding out the system was Zu Event Mk. II cables (complete loom value about $2500).
Since i'm always asking about the funkalicious tunes, Sean of Zu Audio said that Edward Ka-Spell, Sturgill Simpson, Hand to Man Band, Rush, Fugees, Goatsnake, and Evoken were on heavy rotation.
