Emerald Physics, DSPeakers And Exogal

  Emerald Physics room had their entire system, the whole kit and kaboom is priced at less than $3799! Holy cray amazing sound for the money. Fun system! Whilst retail price of the system is $5900, their Internet direct price thru Underwood HiFi is $3799.

Emerald Physics KCII open baffle controlled dispersion loudspeakers have custom Dual 10" Emerald Physics woofers with their 8" 'Godzilla' point source midrange/tweeter in a full open baffle design. It uses a full range crossover in a truly stunning new design. They can be wired single, bi- or tri-amplified and are shown in the optional Red Burl Tri-coat automotive finish ($2495 per pair in powder coated black MDF). The speakers were being driven by the Emerald Physics EP100.2SE Special Edition 100 watt/ch hybrid digital amplifier ($2200) with Emerald Physics designed analog power supply. The stereo amp can also be operated in mono to produce 275 watts. Lastly, DSPeaker Anti-Mode Dual Core 2.0 ($1200) was being used as a preamp, DAC and room correction device.

DSPeakers' new DSPeaker X4 room correction four channel preamp/DAC ($3500) is a step above the Anti-Mode 2.0 with 24-bit/192kHz processing, DSD playback, larger internal power supply, more inputs and new patented headphone circuitry. The X4 also features a new and patent-pending automatic subwoofer integration technology. Lastly, they announced being the United States of America distributors for Exogal products from Minnesota. The Comet DAC ($2495) joins their Ion stereo power amplifier that produces 125 wpc (250 wpc @ 4 Ohms).
