Daedalus Audio, Zesto Audio, WyWires, ModWright And VPI

  Daedalus Audio, Zesto Audio, WyWires, ModWright and VPI made a great sounding room togther at T.H.E. Show Newport 2015. Zesto Audio brought their Andros 1.2 vacuum tube phonostage ($4700) and Leto 1.5 vacuum tube preamplifier ($7500) and mated it to the Zesto Audio BIA 120 vacuum tube Class A KT88 stereo amplifier ($12,500) to drive the Daedalus Audio newly improved Athena V.2 full range floorstanding loudspeakers ($11,950, yet here it is in Ebonized Walnut $12,550). The cabinet finish on the speakers was incredibly beautiful!

ModWright Instruments' Elyse tubed DAC was put to good use and it handles 24-bit/192kHz fully asynchronous ($6900). For analog duties, the highly acclaimed VPI Aries 3 turntable with 12" JMW 3D arm filled the bill nicely ($9900). 

Of course you need cables to hook it all together, and so WyWires: Diamond Interconnects ($4495 on up) and Silver Series power cords ($429), Diamond Speaker cables ($7999), two Power Broker AC distributors ($2495 each) and Platinum series USB and S/PDIF RCA digital cables starting at $899) brought the system together.

Stillpoints ESS Rack system kept all the gear neatly in place and put the finishing touches on another truly excellent system at T.H.E. Show Newport 2015.
